Find out more about Oman market access and the recently launched certification requirements. The new requirements will first impact washing machines with a capacity of 11 kg to 25 kg, dishwashers and vacuum cleaners.

Manufacturers and importers need to be ready with safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) third-party test reports and a certificate issued by an appointed Notified Body to comply with the newly introduced requirements. In addition, authorities are developing an online registry of approved products.
