The coming year brings important changes to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) landscape, and organizations will need to determine whether LEED v4, LEED v4.1 or the newly updated LEED v5 is the best fit for their buildings and portfolios. Registration for most v4 and v4.1 rating systems closes on June 30, 2026, and certifications sunset on June 30, 2032, with additional distinctions for operations and maintenance (O+M) pathways, such as v4.1 O+M recertification remaining available through June 30, 2027.
As these milestones approach, sustainability leaders, real estate teams and project managers are evaluating how each LEED version aligns with their building performance profiles, timelines and long-term goals. This webinar provides high-level guidance to help viewers understand the evolving LEED ecosystem and prepare for strategic planning.
