NORTHBROOK, Ill. — May 7, 2026 — UL Solutions Inc. (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, today announced it has received the Robert W. Campbell Award from the National Safety Council (NSC), one of the council’s highest honors recognizing organizations for excellence in workplace safety leadership.

“We’re deeply honored to receive the Robert W. Campbell Award from the National Safety Council, as it’s a powerful affirmation of our mission of working for a safer world,” said Jennifer Scanlon, president and CEO of UL Solutions. “Safety is in our DNA, and it’s embedded in our culture. From the way we operate to the solutions we deliver, advancing safety has defined UL Solutions for more than 130 years.”

With a century-long history, the NSC is a global center for safety expertise and among the leading U.S. nonprofit safety advocates. The award – named for the council’s first president – recognizes companies that exemplify business excellence by demonstrating exceptional environmental, health and safety (EHS) management systems, visible leadership commitment and continuous improvement as a core business function.

The award recognizes UL Solutions for its enterprise-wide approach to EHS and how safety is the foundation of company culture. In the review process, NSC award judges found strong leadership commitment to safety culture, EHS collaboration with operations, proactive risk management, and global safety standards and systems that employees understand and embrace.

"At UL Solutions, safety goes beyond compliance—it is a vital component of both operations and culture,” said Lorraine Martin, NSC CEO. “The National Safety Council is proud to bestow UL Solutions with the Robert W. Campbell Award in recognition of their accomplishment in instilling safety as a value for all employees, making safety personal rather than procedural.”

The award was presented on May 6 at the NSC Leaders in Safety Award Celebration in Baltimore. UL Solutions joins a select group of companies that have received the Robert W. Campbell Award. Learn more about the mission: Our Mission – Campbell Award.
