We are proud to share that UL Solutions received two awards from Business Media International and its human resources publication, HR Asia magazine, during a ceremony in Shanghai on Nov. 3, 2023.
UL Solutions was honored as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2023.” This marks the second consecutive year the company has won this accolade, one of Asia’s most prestigious, well-known employer brand awards. Additionally, UL Solutions received an award in the category “2023 HR Asia – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” for China.
UL Solutions was chosen for these honors from among nearly 300 companies included in the awards process, which required nearly five months of preparation and featured employee surveys and expert panel reviews.
“We’re honored to receive these awards recognizing our positive employer brand and people strategy,” said David Wu, regional vice president of UL Solutions and general manager of Mainland China and Hong Kong. “These awards amplify our achievements in promoting an inclusive culture and enhancing employee experiences, which help make UL Solutions an employer of choice for top talent.”
Steven Shi, general manager for the China Certification and Inspection group at UL Solutions, represented the company in accepting the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” award. Janice Zhong, talent acquisition team lead and China DEI ambassador lead for UL Solutions, accepted the DEI award. Several other UL Solutions employees attended the ceremony to celebrate the company’s recognition.
These accolades from HR Asia affirm our talent strategy and our commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive corporate culture. They also provide additional motivation to continuously improve our employees’ welfare and engagement.
