UL-NTU to Advance Safety and Quality of 3D Printing

 UL and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (NTU Singapore) announced a new research partnership last month to advance the safety and quality of 3D printing.

 

NTU’s Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) and UL are working to conduct joint research and inform local best practices. The partnership’s first project will be research to support safety and quality recommendations for use of 3D printers in schools.

 

The agreement was signed on May 16, 2015 by SC3DP and UL executives, witnessed by Guest of Honor Chang Chin Nam, executive director for Precision Engineering at Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB).
