UL Now Offering Certification for Toy Export to Vietnam

UL is able to provide local certification, which is mandatory based on National Technical Regulation on safety of toys (QCVN3:2009/BKHCN). All toys shall carry the conformity Mark (CR Mark).

The two certification schemes offered are:

  • Lot Inspection (Scheme 7): sample testing by designated Vietnamese bodies with a check of the cargo and documents at the harbor, as well as an issue of the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) valid for the single lot.
  • Assess Manufacture Process (Scheme 5):  sample testing by designated Vietnamese bodies and the manufacture process assessment (audit), and an issue of the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) with three years validity. The scheme includes follow-up audits.
