UL to cease certification for category LRBA/LRBA7 appliances

UL announces termination of certification services for unvented alcohol fuel-burning decorative appliances.

UL is terminating certification services for unvented alcohol fuel-burning decorative appliances. The affected UL certification categories pertain to the LRBA and LRBA7 product category codes.

The termination will be effective Dec. 31, 2021. On or before the effective date, customers shall cease using any UL Mark on, or in connection with, any unvented alcohol fuel-burning decorative appliance, including any use of any UL Mark, or any reference to UL or one of its corporate affiliates, in the marketing, promotion or advertising of such appliance. The UL files associated with these products will be withdrawn as of Dec. 31, 2021.
