Thailand - UL Recognized as TISI Inspection Body

According to the announcement of Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) issue 2 (B.E.2562), published in the Thai Gazette on Jan. 3, 2020, about the appointment of TISI Inspection Body, UL’s Thailand Inspection Body has been appointed and recognized by TISI. Our Thailand Inspection Body’s scope covers 26 TISI mandatory standards for household appliances, HVAC/refrigerating and lighting products.

Customers can work with UL in Thailand to provide the one stop service of TISI certification for their products in order to access the Thailand market. 

How UL can help:

UL Thailand can assist the client in one stop service for TISI certification as following detail.

  • Testing and issue of the TISI test report. (Required In-country testing)
  • Providing the TISI factory inspection service and report.
  • Handling TISI application until customers get the final TISI certificate of their products.
