Taiwan, June 8, 2017 – UL Environment, a division of UL (Underwriters Laboratories), a global safety science leader, today announced that Hung Kuo headquarter-Hung Kuo building achieved UL Building Indoor Air Quality Certification to the UL 2891 standard.
UL’s Building Indoor Air Quality Certification is the world’s first comprehensive indoor air quality (IAQ) certification and preventative maintenance program for built environments. It addresses moisture, mold, airborne volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors and other aspects of IAQ, and provides the certification holder with a third-party UL Environment Certification Mark to communicate the achievement to their customers and stakeholders.
By gaining UL’s Building Indoor Air Quality certification for their headquarters, Hung Kuo Group has achieved certification to the UL2891 standard, which includes strict desktop audit and visual inspection of the building along with environmental measurements and air sampling in the building.
