UL believes the unwarranted aggression against the people of Ukraine cannot be ignored.  As always, we prioritize the safety, security and sustainability of our employees, our customers and our communities worldwide. Accordingly, in March, UL made the decision to stop all work in Russia and Belarus and not take on or pursue any new customer orders related to those countries.

The devastating toll of the war in Ukraine has created a humanitarian crisis, threatening the safety of millions of people. To this end, UL has increased volunteer time off for employees to support Ukrainian relief in their communities and has made a donation to the American Red Cross to support the direct operations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Ukrainian Red Cross and Polish Red Cross.

As a company dedicated to working for a safer world, we continue to hope for an end to this war. We will continue to lead with empathy and take care of our people.
