Shining 3D received UL and cUL certifications for its Einstart-L 3D printer from UL at the Third World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference & the Second World 3D Printing Expo in Chengdu, China. This certifies that the printer has been successfully tested to meet UL Standard 60950. With the UL certification obtained by Shining 3D, it not only shows an emphasis on the safety of innovative products by the business, it also helps to further develop the business overseas.

“As the vice chairman enterprise of the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance, Shining 3D prioritizes product safety while propelling innovation and development in the industry. As such, we brought the product to be tested and certified by a third party.  We selected UL, which has more than a hundred years of experience, and the professional talent and international network to more effectively enter the international market. With the important certifications for U.S. and European standards, we hope to push our products into these target markets in a timely fashion,” said Donglai Zhao, vice president of Shining 3D.

"As technology advances, new products constantly incorporate this new knowledge. UL continually develops and improves its standards to address the safety issues of new technology. While the new products provide consumers with new functions and lifestyle conveniences, our work helps ensure these products are safe when used. Furthermore, UL certification can help Chinese manufacturers build confidence in the international market and be recognized by global consumers," said Simin Zhou, vice president of UL’s Digital Manufacturing Technologies Division.
