Legislators Enact Laws on Marihuana

Michigan Legislature has announced the enactment of the following:

  • Public Act 281 of 2016 - Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act
  • Public Act 282 of 2016 - Marihuana Tracking Act
  • Public Act 283 of 2016 – An Amendment to the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act (MMMA) Initiated Law 1 of 2008

The governor approved these bills on September 21, 2016 and they were filed with the Secretary of State on the same day. Their effective date is December 20, 2016.
