Agenda

TopicDescription
IntroductionMany companies are currently focused on the one-time reporting rule for PFAS under TSCA Section 8(a)(7) and, understandably so, given the looming reporting deadline. However, there are numerous ongoing TSCA requirements with which companies must comply. This webinar will focus on three such requirements.
Significant New Use Rules (SNURs) under TSCA Section 5SNURs require companies to notify the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) before engaging in uses of chemical substances that EPA has determined to be significant new uses.
Risk Management Rules under TSCA Section 6Section 6 of TSCA authorizes EPA to regulate existing chemical substances that may pose unreasonable risks to human health or the environment under their conditions of use.
The Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Rule under TSCA Section 8The CDR rule requires manufacturers and importers to provide information to the EPA on the production and use of chemicals in commerce.
