Karsten Koester has been Principal Engineer (PrE), for the LV Drives Standards since 2024. Additionally, he took over the role of PrE for MV Drive (UL347A) and MV Power Supplies (OOI 2877) in 2025.
During his 23 years at UL Solutions, Karsten has built extensive industrial knowledge of both disciplines for North America and international standards and has been instrumental in the success of the electronic controls team and their customers.
