Austria has introduced specific grid code requirements for electric vehicle (EV) chargers to support safer and more reliable integration into the electrical network. These requirements are defined under the Technical and Organisational Rules for Network Operators and Users (TOR) and complemented by the OVE-Richtlinie R 37, which establishes the testing methods for compliance.
