
Moath Awwad is a regional manager, Global Market Access, leading certification offices in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He and his teams help companies break into new markets and ease their product launch with comprehensive certification and compliance services.

Navigating the complexities of international product safety and market access
He possesses a degree in electronics engineering from Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan. Earlier in his career, Moath worked as a conformity assessment engineer at the Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology and a senior operations manager at a public safety company in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries.
He leads UL Solutions certification offices in Asia, the Middle East and Africa supporting our customers as they bring their products to multiple markets with in-country support and certification expertise.
Moath leverages his deep connections with the regulatory bodies and other authorities in these countries to help our customers understand the varying regulations and requirements that change from country to country, for even the same product. He helps manufacturers align their processes with each country’s technical requirements so they can achieve the certification needed to enter the country.
