Webinar description and learning objectives:
The most globally accepted testing performed on materials is flammability. During this webinar, UL will explain the details of the small-scale flammability testing and requirements covered in UL 94, the Standard for Tests for Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Devices and Appliances, which determines the material’s tendency to either extinguish or spread the flame once the material has been ignited.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- How to relate material performance properties to end product safety requirements
- About preselection and end product flammability test methods
- How to identify suitable materials using UL’s Product iQ® database
