New WERCSmart Capabilities for Chemical Reporting and Compliance

WERCSmart® continues to evolve to help customers meet expanding chemical reporting requirements. New capabilities have been introduced to improve how chemical information is collected, assessed, and maintained, particularly for nonformulated products.

What We’ll Cover

Expanded Article Chemical Reporting

WERCSmart now supports expanded reporting for chemical groups of concern, including PFAS, phthalates, bisphenols, and heavy metals, in nonformulated products (Articles). Where requested by retail recipients, users are guided to provide specific chemical details or submit Declarations of Compliance when no members of a group are present. This capability supports retailer compliance with applicable state statutes such as Minnesota’s Amara’s Law.
