以太网供电（Power over Ethernet / PoE）技术自2003年正式推出市场，在很多领域已开始应用，包括数据中心、商业建筑、工厂、医疗设施等。另外，随着规范持续更新，PoE的最高功率提高到90W，可以支持的产品类型也变得更加多样化，应用变得更广泛。由于市场使用PoE名称的产品种类繁多，并出现了一些使用问题，所以业界针对应用PoE技术的不同设备和零部件制订了相关规范，以评估这些产品的性能。

为此，UL Solutions将于2022年9月20日举办一场以太网供电（Power over Ethernet / PoE）网络研讨会，详细介绍其应用技术和测试要求。
