In conjunction with America Makes, UL AM is offering a condensed version of our Managing Quality & Safety in AM course at the upcoming Program Review and Members Meeting (PRMM) at America Makes in Youngstown, Ohio. The course is a discussion-oriented half-day session in which participants will gain a working knowledge of process and material hazard management and how to assure quality and safety in part production. The course is scheduled for Thursday, September 29, from 12:30pm – 5:00pm local time. Lunch is provided.
Paul Bates, Manager of the UL AMCC and course instructor, plans to have a full agenda for the session. Discussions will highlight AM facility safety management, identification and management of process and material hazards, and assessing conformance of parts manufactured using AM technologies.
