ANVISA Releases Resolution on the Requirements for the Regularization of Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics, and Perfumes

The Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) has released Resolution RDC No 7, Technical Requirements to the Regularization of Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics and Perfumes, providing definitions, classifications, technical requirements for labeling and electronic procedures. The bill also includes the incorporation of the national legal system:

  • Resolutions GMC MERCOSUR No 110/94 "Definition of Cosmetic Products", 07/05 "Classification of Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics and Perfumes"
  • Resolutions GMC MERCOSUR No 110/94 26/04
  • "Specific Technical Requirements to Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics and Perfumes"
  • Resolutions GMC MERCOSUR No 110/94 36/04 "General Required Labelling to Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics and Perfumes"
  • Resolutions GMC MERCOSUR No 110/94 36/99 "Specific Labelling to Personal Hygiene Products, Cosmetics and Perfumes"
  • Resolutions GMC MERCOSUR No 110/94 24/95 "Requirements to the registration of MERCOSUR and ExtraZone Cosmetic Products and to Enabling Representative Companies Owners of the Register in the Receptor Country and Importers"

This Resolution also specifies the revocation of the Resolutions RDC 211/2005, RDC 343/2005 and RDC 04/2014.
