UNITED STATES - The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) has released ASTM F2223 - 15 Standard Guide for ASTM Standards on Playground Surfacing.
This standard serves as a guide to assist the playground owner/operator, specifier, designer, etc., in determining the properties to be considered with regard to the protective surfacing in the playground and outlines the requirements associated with design, installation, and maintenance of the surface.
