KATS Drafts Revisions on Regulations on Children’s Textile Products

Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of its draft changes on the following regulations on children’s textile products, namely:

A draft revision for Supplier  Conformation criteria for Leather Products for Children, Textile Products for Children ·    Addition of electrical safety requirements for leather products for children including Li-ion battery

·    Addition of electrical safety requirements for textile products for children including Li-ion battery and safety requirement for nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylate

A draft revision for safety and quality mark criteria for textile products and leather products ·    Addition of electrical safety requirements for textile products and leather products including Li-ion battery
A draft revision for Safety Conformation Criteria for Textile Products for Infants ·    Addition of electrical safety requirements for textile products for Infants including Li-ion battery and safety requirement for nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylate
