EUROPEAN UNION - The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) has published EN 13209-2:2016 Child use and care articles - Baby carriers - Safety requirements and test methods - Part 2: Soft carrier.
This standard provides the safety requirements and test methods for soft carriers without a framed support incorporating integral leg openings designed to carry a child when attached to the carrier’s torso. The standard identifies soft carriers allowing the carrier a hands-free operation when standing and/or walking.
