UL Code Correlation Database

The UL Code Correlation Database identifies the correlation between particular model code section numbers and UL Product Category Codes. The database also provides hyperlinks to the UL Guide Information and other specific information pertaining to each Category Code.

The database is simple to use, and accommodates two distinct searches:

  • Identifying UL Product Category Guide Information that corresponds to a particular code section.
  • Identifying code sections that correspond to a particular Product Category.

Whether you wish to locate Guide Information that provides detailed information on a particular product category, or a comprehensive list of manufacturers of the certified products, this information is readily available at the click of a mouse.

STEP 1: Select the Model Code to query

STEP 2: Define one or more parameters

As can be seen, the UL Code Correlation Database is a powerful tool for helping achieve safe, code compliant installations. This database may not be a comprehensive list and there may be other UL product categories and certifications that correspond to individual Code sections. This database is only an informational guide; it is up to the AHJ or code official to determine the ultimate suitability of any certified product in a given installation. UL provides no warranty or guarantee about the validity of the model codes correlation data.
