Certifications Directory

A "virtual" catalog of more than 110,000 products and components that are UL Listed or Recognized. The UL Online Certifications Directory is updated daily, connecting you with a search page to easily access information on UL Certifications (Listed, Recognized and Classified products) and Registered firms, for no charge. Search in a number of ways: by company name or geography, file number, product name or number, and guide information. If you specify products, inspect building construction or purchase products that must meet codes or standards, UL's online database provides the information you need.

UL iQ Databases

UL iQ brings you databases that help you find products that meet your needs with quick, intuitive searches. Sign up for your free membership today and gain immediate access to:

  • IQ for Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) -- Intended for end-product and printed wiring board manufacturers as well as EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) organizations. The database includes Rigid and Flexible Printed Wiring Boards as well as Laminates and Coatings used in manufacturing of printed wiring boards. The database enables searching by UL ratings as well as company name, type designation and UL File Number.
  • UL iQ for Switches -- Intended for end-product manufacturers whose products employ switches. The database enables searching by switch ratings, including electrical, endurance and temperature rating as well as company name and catalog number. In addition to including the rating information, the conditions of use (AKA Conditions of Acceptability) are included in the product information for each model.
  • UL iQ for Plastics -- An invaluable tool for plastics buyers and specifiers. Search for UL-Recognized plastics by company name, file number, grade of plastic and generic company name or description.
  • UL iQ for Electrical Insulation Systems -- Designed for manufacturers who use electrical insulation systems in their products. Search for a system by major components and stay up-to-date with the latest information!
  • UL iQ for RSCS - Designed for electronic supply chain partners searching for products and components that are eligible to bear the UL-RoHS Product Mark.

Training

The training seminars in UL's continuing professional education program are designed to be quality learning experiences for all participants. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a UL seminar for which you have paid, we will, upon your request, either give you a 100 percent credit toward another comparably priced UL seminar or fully refund your registration fee.

UL 60950 Practical Application Guidelines

Your single source for understanding and applying the requirements of the Standard for Information Technology Equipment - Safety, UL 60950-1. This technical information resource is commonly referred to as PAGOS (Practical Applications On-Line System) and is the go-to reference for UL staff and others who routinely apply UL 60950-1.

PLEASE NOTE!

UL's PAGOS has been combined with our online standards systems to bring you added functionality. Our new PAGOS continues to offer the same features you've come to rely on with one significant enhancement: you'll see active links to and from a PAG being viewed to the online version of UL 60950-1. So, once you're logged in, you will have access to both the UL 60950-1 Standard and the PAGs supporting it.

For UL certification customers, access to the UL 60950-1 Standard and PAGs is free via the Standards Certification Customer Library (SCCL).

For other users, access to the PAGs is available with with your subscription to the UL 60950-1 Standard, which can be purchased through the UL Standards sales portal. Please see the UL Standards sales portal for subscription information.

Effective June 1, 2008, the old PAGOS will be decomissioned and your old bookmark or any other links to the PAGOS will be automatically directed to the SCCL.
