Authorized Label Suppliers

Find an Authorized Label Supplier that meets your requirements

Consumers, regulators and businesses around the world implicitly trust the UL certification Mark on a product. To ensure the integrity of the UL certification Mark, all label suppliers who produce labels bearing the UL Mark must participate in the UL Solutions Authorized Label Suppliers Program (ALSP).

The ALSP protects the integrity of UL’s certification Marks and deters counterfeiting. Label printers participating in the ALSP agree to produce and distribute UL certification Marks based on UL Solutions requirements.

Requirements

The requirements for the ALSP are outlined in the UL Solutions guide “Printing UL Marks,” which is available online. To confirm compliance with the guide, UL Solutions representatives visit each label supplier location that prints and distributes the UL certification Mark. This visit includes an audit of labels in stock or production, a review of the label suppliers’ systems to ensure compliance with requirements and an opportunity to discuss label printing questions or concerns with UL Solutions.

How to find an ALSP

UL Solutions publishes the name and location of each Authorized Label Supplier on the UL Solutions Product iQ certification database under the category code PGAA and PGAAC.

How to become an Authorized Label Supplier

Label printers interested in becoming an Authorized Label Supplier should visit the Authorized Label Supplier Program for Certification Marks page for more information.

Important to know

The inclusion of an Authorized Label Supplier’s name in this database under the category code PGAA or PGAAC does not indicate compliance with the UL Solutions Recognized Component certifications for Marking and Labeling Systems. To determine if a supplier has coverage under both the UL Solutions ALSP and the UL Solutions Recognized Marking and Labeling Systems certifications, you will need to search all categories.
