The UL Mark is globally recognized, and there’s a good reason for that.
The UL Mark is simply the letters “UL” contained in a circle, but what it symbolizes is anything but simple. When you find the mark on any one of the millions of common electrical products or wiring devices – which includes the connection, routing, and switching of electricity – you know that it represents safety and commitment from the manufacturer. More specifically, you know that UL’s expertise worked to help ensure the safety of that product.
This is all possible because our expertise spans all areas of safety science. UL actively works with industry and Standards Development Panels (STPs) on the standards development process, and we are always looking for new ways to serve the industry, including our recently expanded testing for terminal blocks. Beyond the safe physical operation of various products and devices, we also work to help combat counterfeiting and move our ever-connected world toward greater cybersecurity.
