James Dollive Elected to Underwriters Laboratories' Board of Trustees

NORTHBROOK, Ill., June 16, 2008 -- Underwriters Laboratories (UL) today announced that James Dollive has been elected to UL's board of trustees.

Mr. Dollive most recently served as executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer for Kraft Foods Inc. During a distinguished 30-year career at Kraft, Dollive held a host of positions including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for General Foods, VP Finance for Kraft Canada, Sr. VP Strategy for Kraft North America, and head of finance and strategy for Kraft Jacobs Suchard in Western Europe.

During his tenure as CFO, Mr. Dollive completed a wide range of major transactions for Kraft. In 2001, he helped lead Kraft's Initial Public Offering and in 2007, Kraft's spin-off to a fully independent company. He retired from Kraft Foods in February 2008.

Mr. Dollive began his career as a design/research engineer at RCA, a manufacturer of electrical and electronic products. While there, he worked in the company's Advanced Technology Labs where he specialized in integrated circuit design.

Mr. Dollive is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and of University of Pennsylvania (Penn), where he earned a Masters of Science in Engineering Systems and a Masters of Business Administration from Penn's Wharton School of Business.

Mr. Dollive is also a Director of Hartmarx Corporation, serving on its Audit and Nominating & Governance Committees.
