UL opens door for greater access to the Canadian market

Entering the Canadian is now simpler and easier as UL leads efforts to build multiple certification paths for customers selling their products in Canada. In addition to its widely recognized C-UL mark for Canada, UL has expanded its 1996 data exchange Memorandum of Understanding with CSA International to cover a wider range of electrical products. As a result, UL customers who want both UL and CSA certification for their electrical products can obtain them through a single product test program. Both the C-UL Mark and an expanded MOU offer UL's customers a direct path to the Canadian market helping to reduce their time and expense of multi-market certification.

This effort is just the latest addition to UL's ever-expanding portfolio of services. Local UL affiliates can help customers enter key markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
