Our safety Standards for commercial display furniture include:

  • UL 65 Standard for Wired Cabinets – the industry-leading standard for display cases and special-purpose cabinets, such as jewelry displays, lighted displays, and merchandise cabinets, that contain electrical wiring with or without illumination.
  • UL 962 Standard for Household and Commercial Furnishings – a certification for kiosks, product displays (including refrigerated), cash wraps, carpet-dispensing machines, shelving units, wall systems, computerized information centers, digital camera and video camera displays, and more.

We can also help furniture manufacturers and retailers affected by California Proposition 65 regulations, which require nearly every business operating within the state to warn buyers of the presence of any of the nearly 900 chemical substances contained in or emitted by the products that they sell.

On-site field evaluations

We also offer on-site field evaluations for products already at the installation site to assist in quickly addressing local authority concerns. Our commercial inspection and testing service, conducted at suppliers’ facilities, helps to ensure components meet quality and safety specifications.
