A new conference for the Asian region will be held in Shanghai, China from April 25-27, 2017
SHREWSBURY, Penn., Jan. 20, 2017 — IWCS, producer of the International Cable & Connectivity Symposium, and UL, a global independent safety science company, have issued a Call for Papers for their regional Asian conference to be held in Shanghai, China on April 25-27, 2017 at the Marriott Shanghai City Centre. The deadline for submissions is 17 February 2017 so potential authors are urged to submit soon. The UL and IWCS China 2017 Cable & Connectivity Symposium is based on the IWCS educational symposium format and is the Asia region’s leading forum for the exchange of information on technical innovations and solutions in the industry.
The conference offers a full day of Professional Development Courses and two full days of Technical Symposium sessions, all of which will be presented in English with simultaneous translation into Mandarin. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Global FTTX & Installation, Fiber / Cable Manufacturing and Reliability, Materials for Cable & Connectivity Applications, Fiber & Cable Measurements, Copper Cables – Performance and Design, Fiber Optic Connectors, Next Generation Special Fibers, and High Density Fiber Optic Cables.
Abstracts for papers on these key topics are sought from academic, manufacturing and user communities worldwide – including subject matter experts, application solutions providers and product innovators, as well as professionals who are engaged in various industry segments. If the work is of interest to the worldwide cable and connectivity industry, it should be presented at the UL and IWCS China Symposium.
Accepted papers will be widely disseminated with broad exposure opportunities for the topic, author, and company to thousands of stakeholders internationally. In addition to the presentation at the symposium, accepted paper will be published in the symposium proceedings book, published in the IWCS online archive, republished by IWCS in industry trade journals, and republished by the author (when authorized with IWCS permission). The author will also have the opportunity to participate in the IWCS Webinar Series, a free live presentation of papers with a global audience which is also archived on the IWCS website for downloading on demand.
