Hungary Releases Regulation on GMO-Free Labeling

The Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture has released a regulation relating to genetically-modified organism (GMO) labeling.

The regulation sets out certain requirements in using the term "GMO-free" and requires proof on being GMO-free.

Published in the Official Gazette No.138 on September 15, the regulation will take effect on September 20, 2016.
