For more than 120 years, UL has been placing its mark on everyday items large and small – signifying that the products have been tested and certified to rigorous safety standards. With a mission to make the world a safer place, UL contributes to the safety of a vast variety of products ranging from light bulbs, lifeguard flotation devices, children’s Halloween costumes, wires and building materials, to bank machines and bulletproof glass.
Not only is UL moving its services quickly into the realm of digital technologies, it is changing the way it stores and shares its own information and that of its customers. UL is committed to being a good steward of its customers’ information and maintaining its 120-year “circle of trust.” Supported by a digital infrastructure provided by Microsoft, UL aims to accelerate the speed of innovation for itself and its customers safely.
UL and Microsoft worked together to create a series of content that outlines UL’s reach, history and interface with customers. To read the full article or watch the videos, visit the Microsoft Blog.
