California Proposition 65 affects manufacturers of products sold in California containing any one of 100s of chemicals listed by the State of California as known carcinogens or reproductive toxins. In Dec 2013, the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) added diisononyl phthalate (DINP) to California's Prop 65 list as “known to the State to cause cancer”. Labeling requirements for DINP will be effective Dec 20, 2014.
