Working in partnership against a common threat
UL’s annual Brand Protection Conference was launched as part of our public safety mission. It provides our customers and other rights holders with the opportunity to meet and network with law enforcement and intellectual property (IP) crime experts. These experts share operational methodologies, best practices and case studies that highlight the latest developments in brand protection solutions, technologies and strategies that can be used to establish or enhance our customers’ own brand protection programs.
The two-day training forum includes plenary and panel sessions, operational workshops, interactive round-table sessions, and a networking lounge. Additionally, rights holders have the opportunity to provide product identification training to law enforcement attendees.
The conference increases the effectiveness of participants in combatting intellectual property crime. Participants gain access to the training and tools needed to protect brands and supply chains, and can develop stronger strategic and tactical relationships with law enforcement and brand protection service providers. Building upon these global contacts helps to create operational partnerships that can result in more successful and cost-effective investigations, enforcement actions, and training initiatives.
The next conference is planned for 07/06/2014 at Panama, FL. For more information on UL’sBrand Protection Conference, please use the “Contact Us” button.
