UL for Plastics

For more than 70 years, the UL Thermoplastic Testing Center (UL TTC) has had high standing in the field of plastics for competence, excellence and results. The K 2016 Tradeshow is the ideal platform to present to you our extensive range of services and possibilities; from plastics compounding, test specimen preparation to performance testing via 200 or more applicable test methods.

UL TTC now offers comprehensive Automotive Testing and Engineering Services.  By complementing or substituting internal testing capabilities, UL TTC helps car manufacturers and automotive suppliers to reduce costs, improve product reliability and increase efficiency along the entire automotive supply chain. UL’s accredited, independent testing centers verify material and product performance according to customer specific requirements, international test standards as well as local and global regulations. UL TTC supports customers from product concept stage to early product development, through to final part production approval process (PPAP) for an optimized time-to-market.

This leading informational resource for plastic materials provides materials information services including a searchable database called PROSPECTOR®. While plastics manufacturers can advertise their products via Prospector, end product compliance specialists can explore this plastics database and find materials with specific properties.
