Besides the possibility to network within the industry, the congress offers a new presentation concept: two thought leadership series will be running in parallel and will also include several interactive workshops, discussions and world cafés. This concept will be accompanied by the usual automotive exhibition on two separate floors.

Take the opportunity and visit the presentation of Dr. Thomas Wagner, Business Manager Automotive at Underwriter Laboratories’ (UL) Chemicals Division. His discussion will focus on the necessity of ongoing modification of testing technologies so that innovative plastics and high performance materials can be developed in consideration of end-product applications. With a view to the current trends in the automotive industry Dr. Wagner will show descriptive examples for mechanical performance, burning behavior and electrical testing.

Whether car manufacturer or component supplier, UL’s various OEM approvals and experience in the automotive industry make UL your ideal partner. UL supports clients along the entire product development cycle, from the early planning and design phase, to material validation up to the final Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for an optimized time to market.

UL Experts are pleased to welcome you at our booth to answer your questions regarding safety requirements, performance testing and UL services for your next automotive project or product. Benefit from our knowledge on latest news and innovations in the industry.

Learn more and meet the UL Team at PIAE 2019. You’ll find us on the ground floor: Booth #47.
