The (AVA) Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore has drafted and proposed changes to Food Regulations.

This regulation specifies amendments to some parts of the Food Regulations. The proposed amendments are:

  1. To delete the existing regulation 35 of the Food Regulations and substitute with the following new regulation 35 which provides a definition for ready-to-eat food
  2. To delete the existing Eleventh Schedule of the Food Regulations and substitute with a new Eleventh Schedule which specifies the revised microbiological standard for ready-to-eat food

The proposal is open for public consultation until November 3, 2017.
