Kazakhstan’s Ministry of National Economy has drafted two standards intended for common sanitary and epidemiological and hygienic requirements for disinfectants, detergents and softeners.

The standards are:

  • Draft of the Eurasian Economic Commission Collegium Decision on amendments to the Part 20 of the Chapter II of the Common sanitary and epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products subject to sanitary and epidemiological surveillance 
    • This draft aims to protect human health and ensure sanitary and epidemiological safety of disinfectants.
  • Draft of the Eurasian Economic Commission Collegium Decision on amendments to the Chapter II of the Common sanitary and epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products subject to sanitary and epidemiological surveillance 
    • This draft aims to ensure safety of synthetic detergents and water softeners.

The two drafts are open for consultation until November 18, 2017.
