The German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture has drafted a regulation aiming to limit mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbon (MOAH) contact with food materials (FCM).

The regulation introduces the limit of MOAH in packaging made of paper, cardboard or waste paper as 0.5mg per kg of food or food simulant.

The draft regulation was introduced on March 7, 2017.
