The Government of Cuba has published Resolution No. 54/2018 Consumer Protection Policy on April 20th, 2018.

This Regulation specifies the rights of consumers and duties of suppliers of products and services. This Regulation describes the principles of consumer protection, rights and duties of consumers. This also establishes the obligations of suppliers of products and services, both to state entities and the self-employed or cooperative sector.

This Regulation is enforced beginning on June 3rd, 2018.
