Jennifer Scanlon
President and Chief Executive Officer, UL Inc.
Jennifer F. Scanlon (Jenny) started as president and chief executive officer of UL on September 30, 2019. Jenny most recently served as president, CEO and a director of USG Corporation. Jenny sets the direction for the next generation of solutions for UL including building new offerings and opening new markets.

President, International Operations
Sajeev Jesudas is responsible for UL’s operations and business growth outside the U.S. including Korea, Greater China, Canada, Middle East, South Asia and Sub-Sahara Africa, Middle East, Latin America, EMEA, ASEAN and ANZ. In addition, he leads development of UL’s global accounts.
Gitte Schjøtz
President, Retail and Industry business unit
Gitte Schjøtz is responsible driving global growth and building a portfolio that enables companies in the supply chain network to manage product compliance and enterprise risks. Our Retail and Industry business unit encompasses five divisions: Building and Life Safety Technologies, Consumer and Retail Services, Environment and Sustainability, Materials and Supply Chain, and Wire and Cable.
Weifang Zhou
President, Connected Technologies business unit
Weifang Zhou drives growth by creating portfolio synergy, designing innovative solutions and increasing UL’s relevance to customers worldwide. Our Connected Technologies business unit encompasses seven divisions: Appliances, HVAC/R and Lighting, Automotive, Consumer Technology, Energy and Power Technologies, Identity Management and Security, Life and Health Sciences, and Small Appliances.

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Linda Chapin leads the development and oversight of UL’s global human resources team, including all fundamental aspects of its strategy and operations, training and development and environmental health and safety.
Jason Fischer
Senior Vice President and General Manager Field Services
Jason Fischer is responsible for UL’s Field Engineering, which leads the effort around supply chain intelligence to both modernize technology and use data and analytics to drive enhanced field-related decisions, evaluations and compliance.
Lynn H. Hancock
Senior Vice President and Chief Program Officer
Lynn Hancock leads the development and enhancement of UL’s corporate strategy, leveraging her extensive knowledge of operations, manufacturing, quality assurance, and process optimization.
Jackie McLaughlin
Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Jackie McLaughlin is responsible for managing several key functions including legal services, ethics and compliance, government affairs, conformity assessment programs, and global security and brand protection.
Ryan Robinson
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ryan Robinson oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, internal audit, tax and business support functions at UL. He is also responsible for corporate development.
Kathy Seegebrecht
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Kathy Seegebrecht is responsible for the global marketing organization, leading brand and marketing strategy, communication, public relations and crisis management, corporate sustainability, events, customer experience, digital marketing and social media.
Karriem Shakoor
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Karriem Shakoor is responsible for global strategy, development and management of the company’s technology and information assets including enterprise architecture, data/analytics, systems development and technology operations.
Councils
Our councils comprise authorities, government agencies, consumer groups and thought leaders. We currently have councils for electrical, fire, field advisory, security, consumer advisory, renewable energy and health sciences.
The William Henry Merrill Society
The William Henry Merrill Society recognizes select individuals who have made a significant contribution to the fulfillment of our public safety mission. Those honored are technical professionals who have been recognized by both UL and other organizations as leading experts in their fields.
