UL ClearView is a new, customizable assessment methodology that enhances the way companies make business improvement decisions. UL ClearView uses a mix of remote web-based assessments and traditional face-to-face audits to gather, collate and report information. The Approach

UL ClearView is customized to your organization's unique situation. Remote web-based assessments are easy to set up and administer and fully supported by UL. Participants with Internet access simply log in at a convenient time, and then respond to a series of statements appropriate to a participant's role and responsibility. A mix of universal and customized statements are designed to address an organization's specific needs and requirements. These web-based assessments take no longer than 20 minutes, and are a way to include the input of time-pressured employees, customers and suppliers. Web-based assessments are anonymous, so that participants are assured that responses cannot be linked their name.

To complete the evaluation process, UL schedules face-to-face audits. The information gathered from the online assessments is used by UL auditors to develop and guide the in-person audits. All assessment responses are anonymous and are treated with the strictest confidence.
