Facility Registration Certificates Launch on the Online Certifications Directory

Northbrook, Ill., April 20, 2007 -- On April 20, UL will begin adding PDF copies of facility registration certificates to the Online Certifications Directory.

Although all UL registration related information has been available as part of the Online Certifications Directory since it debuted in 1999, UL management system registration customers expressed a need for an easily accessible digital copy of the actual certificate itself. With certificates online, you can easily print additional copies, e-mail the certificates to your customers and even link the certificates from your company Web sites. Additionally, customers with a product certification from UL can also access a PDF copy of their certificate from a link in their UL product listing record.

All certificates that are newly issued or revised after April 20, 2007 will be posted to the Online Certifications Directory shortly after their release. A link to the Online Certifications Directory is available on MyHome or directly at http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/isosrch.html. Over the next three years, all certificates will be available online as they are revised or renewed.
