What is ISO 9000?

ISO 9000 is a series of standards for quality management systems, providing general quality assurance guidelines and quality system models that can be used by any type of company anywhere in the world. Originally published in 1987 by the Geneva-based International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 9000 series has been adopted as national standards by more than 100 countries.

  • Readiness Assessment - an assessment against your present system to any quality management system, including ISO 9001:2000. We can help you determine which areas are in compliance and identify gaps that will hep you bring other areas into compliance.
  • Preliminary Assessment - An excellent tool to determine your readiness for a registration assessment. We can identify areas that need attention prior to your registration, as well as determine an appropriate registration timetable and scope of registration.
  • Document Review - Performed on- or offsite, a document review will evaluate your QMS documents to determine readiness for a registration assessment.
  • Registration Assessment - We will determine your compliance to the ISO 9001:2000 standard and, if successful, issue a UL ISO 9001:2000 Registration Certificate.
