  • Over 27 years of domestic and international textile industry experience in support of innovations for the transportation market. Broad functional responsibilities encompassed design, marketing, and management.
  • Prior to joining N.C. State, held senior level positions at such well known and respected companies as Milliken, Langenthal Textiles, Guilford Mills Automotive, J.L. deBall-Girmes, I.T. Fabrics, Collins & Aikman and LaFrance Industries

The AVRC is now completing a major Department of Energy contract under the Freedom Car program, National Energy Technology Labs. The project will develop a new technology for optimization of ethanol and ethanol/hydrogen systems in internal combustion engines. The AVRC is also active in plug-in hybrid technologies, having converted six vehicles to PHEV.
