(UL) is notifying consumers that air fresheners manufactured by Chuan HWA Art Industry Co., Ltd. may pose a risk of fire or electric shock. Name of Product: Models AN-01 (Gardenia), AN-02 (Snowman), AN-03 (Rose) Units: Unknown quantity Manufacturer: Chuan HWA Art Industry Co., Ltd. Date of Manufacture: November 2002 through September 2004. The date code consists of a four-digit code representing the month and year of manufacture. For example, the code 01/04 represents January 2004. Hazard: UL's investigation of this product has revealed that the scented oil could flow into the wall outlet, which poses a risk of fire and electric shock. Identification: The air fresheners are constructed of ceramic, shaped as a snowman, gardenia or rose. The units are marked with the Model "AN-01," "AN-02" or "AN-03," the UL file number "E180130," the manufacturer's name "Chuan HWA Art Industry Co., Ltd.," and the UL Listing Mark for the United States and Canada. What You Should Do: UL recommends that users stop using the air fresheners immediately and return them to the place of purchase.
