에너지 효율 (Energy Efficiency) 인증
최근 에너지 효율과 관련된 규제가 강화됨에 따라, 제조사들은 제 3 자 인증기관을 통해 제품의 에너지 효율을 확인 받으셔야 합니다. UL은 UL Environment (ULE)를 통해 Energy Efficiency Certification (EEC) 프로그램을 제공해 드리고 있습니다. EEC 프로그램은 다양한 에너지 효율 요구 사항에 맞춰 제품의 에너지 효율을 확인하고 인증해드리는 시험 프로그램입니다. 따라서 제조사는 EEC 프로그램을 통해 제품의 에너지 효율을 증명하는데 활용하실 수 있습니다.
ULE은 다음의 프로그램을 시험해 드릴 수 있습니다.
북미 지역:
- 캐나다:Natural Resources Canada(NRCan)
- 미국:California Energy Commission(CEC)
- 미국:Energy Star
- 미국:Department of Energy (DOE)
ULE를 통해 에너지 효율 및 환경 관련 인증을 받은 제품들은 ULE 데이터 베이스에 등록되며, 제품 카테고리, 제조사명 및 제품명으로 검색이 가능합니다
EEC 프로그램을 통해 에너지 효율을 받은 제조사는 UL Energy Verified 로고를 제품 자체에 부착 하실 수 있으며, 이를 마케팅 자료 혹은 패키지에 활용하실 수 있습니다.
