Primary UL global HazLoc services

  • IECEx Scheme - First and only Ex Certification Body (ExCB) and Ex Assessment and Testing Laboratory (ExTL) with offices in both North America and Europe. Currently issuing and accepting Ex Test Reports (ExTRs) used for national certifications in 22 countries. Additional details on the IECEx Scheme.
  • North America - UL Mark for the United States through accreditation by OSHA. C-UL Mark for Canada through accreditation by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). Additional details on the North American hazardous locations system.
  • Europe - Accredited as a Notified Body under the ATEX Directive (94/9/EC) to issue: Production Quality Assurance Notifications, and EC-Type Examination in support of the CE and "Epsilon-X" marks. Additional details on the European hazardous locations system.
  • Latin America - Accredited by INMETRO as a Brazilian Certification Organization to issue: INMETRO mark and certificates, and Quality assessments.
  • Asia - Local certifications made available thru the IECEx Scheme. Chinese HazLoc certification targeted through data exchange agreements and relationships with CQST and NEPSI in China. First and only North American and European "Designated Foreign Testing Body" accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
  • Australia - Local certifications made available thru the IECEx Scheme, and through work with Australian testing and certification agencies.
  • Commonwealth of Independent States - GOST R and UkrSEPRO approvals made available thru the IECEx Scheme, in conjunction with local Russian certification bodies and through our relationship with TCCExEE in the Ukraine.
